The 1892 Mini Replay was an 88-game project using Strategic Baseball SImulator. It was a project that allowed me to become familiar with SBS and with many of the utilities that are available for the game. Only the standings, batting leaders, and pitching leaders are currently available here. I soon hope to have team stats available. This mini-season was played using the automatic features of SBS. I let it choose the lineups, depth charts, pitching rotation, bullpin usage, etc. It was actually completed in about 2 minutes. Much, much faster than it took to set it all up!
To become familiar with Replay Baseball's computer offering when it was first released, I replayed the 2008 season. I played a few games with me managing one of the teams, but over 95% was auto-played using actual lineups and transactions. Playoff outcomes and stats for this replay can be found here!
The Small City Baseball League (SCBL) was an ambitious Diamond Mind Baseball (DMB) project started several years ago. Using the 1960 season as my starting base, I developed a 12 team league with franchises based in small cities around the United States. I created a financial structure taking into consideration attendance, concessions, travel, and salaries. Each team was created using a computer draft. Each player was assigned a contract length at random. Attendance for each game was calculated using the Random Attendance Generator that was available for DMB. Detailed financial records were kept. The league has finally completed its inagural season! Playoff outcomes and stats to come!
